Eaux Claires is an outdoor music and arts festival hosted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin by Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon. The festival brings in national artists but prides itself on highlighting local talent and paying homage to the landscape of the midwest. I was lucky enough to attend the first year of the festival and so I created the fictional vinyl box set to commemorate the experience. Marketed as a souvenir item for other Eaux Claires attendees, the set is a collection of the headliner's debut albums, in honor of the festival's debut year. Each record is housed in a cardboard sleeve, hand-wrapped in canvas printed with custom ink graphics and badges for each artist. Accompanying the records are pamphlets highlighting the story of how each band evolved to become a headliner of the festival, and a map of the Eaux Claires grounds. The set is housed in a laser cut wood and frosted plexi-glass case that resembles the iconic logo of the Eaux Claires festival.
